About GSS-PH
Global sourcing is becoming
a popular, effective option for handling routine production
tasks in the field of engineering. We recognized this opportunity
in 1997 and we are proud to say that through our enduring
commitment, GSS-PH put itself on the global map emerging
from a small drafting operation into an effective civil design
engineering support services company with a truly international
reach.
GSS-PH specializes in providing
technical support services in the area of civil engineering
design for land development projects. We are proficient at
preparing civil engineering improvement plans such as rough
grading plans, erosion control plans, street improvement plans,
storm drain improvement plans, water and sewer improvement
plans, final tract plans, precise grading plans, plot plans
and sales disclosure exhibits. GSS-PH is also proficient at
preparing conceptual and precise grading plans for commercial
projects. GSS-PH provides hydrology and hydraulic calculations
in support of our Clients drainage report. In-Tract
hydrology calculations are performed using the Rational method.
We prepare hydrology maps showing the drainage sub-areas,
nodal points with their respective elevations, and longest
watercourses. Catch basin sizing is performed using the City
of Los Angeles and LACFCD methodology or Haestads Flowmater
computer software. Hydraulic analysis is performed using the
Water Surface Pressure Gradient (WSPG) computer model.
GSS-PHs technical staff
of 68 civil designers and drafters has been involved in many
land development projects throughout Southern California.
These projects include large master plan communities, residential
tracts, and commercial projects with ADA requirements. Our
technical team is supervised by a design production manager
who has 16 years of land development design experience in
the Southern California area. Our design production team leaders
have gone through an 18-month design training in the U.S.,
working side by side with our Clients engineers. During
that training period, they have gained invaluable design knowledge
and hands-on experience in the field of civil design.
GSS-PH has an office in Colton,
California, USA, and two offices in the Tektite Building in
Ortigas Center, Metro Manila, where the Philippines Stock
Exchange is also located. GSS-PH has a total of 68 computer
work stations, 4 HP plotters, 2 scanners, 2 printers, and
a PolyCom video teleconferencing equipment with a broadband
connection comparable to a to a T-1.
